The opium wars


Opium is a preparation made from the juice of poppy seedpods, and used to produce heroin.
Also The first opium war or the first anglo chinese war was fought between the british east india company and the quing dinasty in china from 1839 to 1842 with the aim of forcing china to import British opium.The second opium war , the second anglo chinese war or arrow war was a war of the united kingdom and france against the qing dinasty of china from 1856 to 1860.
